5. Driveshaft & Steering Modification
Sometimes Blackout XTE truck users complain about the stock driveshaft of their truck where they found that the driveshaft suddenly broke off while running the vehicle off-road.
Generally, these driveshafts are made of Aluminum and come with roll pins, so the trouble arises when the roll pin flew out.
In that case, all you have to do is to put some screws in there to secure the connection.
If that does not solve your problem, you should either buy the Steel CVA F/R Driveshafts or the 1/16 CVD Steel Driveshaft Rebuild Kit and cut the length accordingly to put in there.
The Steel CVA Front /Rear Driveshaft will cost $20.10, and the Rebuild kit will cost $16.95.
Another issue that you might encounter with this RC is the steering problem where the stock Servo saver tends to rub on the backside of the Servo.
The easy fix is to take Dremel and a little bit of the backside. In that way, when it pushes up the Servo Saver, it will not rub on there anymore.
